Design and construction
SGC – Switchgear Company has devoted significant human and financial resources in the development for the finalization of a new compact and/or extendable Ring Main Unit for voltages from 12, 17.5 and 24 kV.
Meeting the most stringent quality and climatic requirements, the production process of the new DR-6 product range happens in a totally new and modern machine park of the latest generation. Laser technology and additional equipments were purchased with the sole objective: a constant and reliable quality. The DR-6 range was developed and produced in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standards.
Security, reliability, respects for the environment characterizes the DR-6 range, of which a large number of components are recyclable.
Application
DR-6 medium voltage cubicles are used in a wide field of applications in the protection of transformers with a maximum capacity of 2500 kVA, regardless the configuration of the distribution network. Urban distribution, rural distribution, applications in renewable energy, SME’s, shopping centres, hospitals, etc. are belonging to the capabilities of the DR-6 range.
